lol...my friend inherited his grandfather's '71 cutlass convertible when we were in high school. his grandfather had it painted at maaco recently before he died, then the car sat in a barn for a few years. I can't believe how bad the paint job is
The car was originally a gold color and it was re-painted black (my friend says it was because his grandfather thought it was ugly, not that it needed it). My buddy worked the car into a DD and soon the paint started coming off. Flaking badly on the hood and trunk, same as Slonaker...when he hit it with the pressure washer, it came off real easy. Then one day we noticed the trunk looked odd...turns out whoever did the paint ing painted over some of the OLDSMOBILE letters on the trunk lid

and painted the chrome trim around the trunk.
I hope this doesnt happen to you.
