OR...
P-size X series X 2 (# of sidewalls)= ?
then...
? divided by 25.4 = ? --> + rim diameter=

Example
P235/75R15

235 X .75 X 2 = 352.5

352.5 divided by 25.4 = 13.87

13.87 + 15" rim = 28.87 inches tall

the P size is millemeter of rubber width rim bead to rim bead going up sidewall accross tread and down sidewall...
the Series is the Percentage of sidewall. so a 75 series is taller than a 50 series
the first ? is in metric form
you then convert to SAE by dividing by 25.4 for 25.4 mm in 1 inch.
from there you have total rubber height... because you already multipied X 2...
just add your rim diameter...
