Cheyenne Super I'm not positive but I thing I spoke to US Body source years ago about who had a full blazer fiber body they said they had the mold for it but never put it into production. That would be awsome! Spendy I'm sure!

Yeah I think if I were to take on this project I'd go with a subframed front off a newer Chevy 4x4 and put that Torsion bag kit of it that NSAIN68 mentioned. Then mate a Astro SY/TY transfer case up to a built 700R4, with a Turbo high RPM SOHC 350. Probably start out with 3:73 gears. For sure want to retain the trailing arms.

Jeff how much would a good used Transfer case would be? Whats the model #?

Whats the earlest year Chevy put independant susp in there 4x4?
Also are 3/4 ton CV joints stronger? What would be the best one to nab from a junk yard?
