What kind of end (at the carb) do you have, is it the ball type
-or- the pin& clip style (for lack of a better way to explain it)...
If its a pin&clip sytle, get a new cable like that for say an '84
chevy 1500 with 350 and I believe it will fit quite nicely, might
have to trim off the plastic a bit were it goes thru the fire wall,
but overall, a nice fit. Its not the ball type end...If you have
a bit of time to kill, go to napa or autozone and ask them if
they can match up a better cable (just take your old one) and
have a look thru there stock.
