I tried this a while back .I would like to buy a good original hood for a 73-78. I have a new hood with the raised lip across the front but would rather use the correct hood .I do not want a 79-80 hood. I am not looking for a hood that needs bodywork or has rust. The last hood I went to look at that was suppose to be perfect turned out to be a 79 hood and had been ran over once .I drove to DFW to look at it and was very disappointed. I bought the rest of the truck for parts but left the hood .Please make sure the hood does not have the raised portion across the front. I dont mind driving.
