I have a Minlta Dimage Z1, its a good camera but it was about 400 bucks when i got it last year. its a good camera, has 40X total zoom which really isnt that nesicary. it you want to print photos you take, my camera will print out 8x10's at photo quality and its 3.1 mp. also, as far as zoom goes, digital zoom will pixelate the image if you zoom in too far and it cant be blown up as much after. optical zoom is better. so when u get a camera it would be better to get a camera with mreo optical zoom than digital.
