Yes, SCP has a lot of good trailing arm stuff. Someone here turned me onto them a while back. Got the axle saddles and u-bolts for my 8.8 install from them. As far as the decision to go with either coil overs or the HTH kit I think it would come down to the hp/tq planned on being made, goals of the truck and budget. There are some very quick trucks running the stock trailing arm suspension keep in mind. I went with the HTH kit as I want my truck to be able to handle beter than a new one and will be a daily driver. I think the advantage the HTH kit has is the adjustable screw jacks like you pointed out and the ability to keep the panhard bar parallel with the ground as you change ride height as it is adjustable this way also. The panhard is most effective when parallel to the ground. It also moves the shock mounting locations (top and bottom). There are a couple pictures in the link in my sig. I don't have the panhard bar installed as I'm waiting to get the truck built to set the pinion angle on the rear end before welding the axle saddles.
