Don't know whether you are referring to this particular car or not but this is an original car. As previously stated. The original ones first came through with a small block. Someone correct me if I am wrong but didn't some of the early one's have the 260 V8? Anyway, the 427SC Cobra's came later. I myself wouldn't mind having a repo glass one with a later model injected 351W,5 or 6 speed with a paxton or vortech supercharger.
I had the oportunity to ride in a real 66 427SC Cobra about 10 years ago. Nothin' like it on earth. Period. It smoked my friends 67' 427/435 tripower Vette roadster(another NASTY car). It also mutilated his LS-6 Chevelle.
