your '70 should not have a 420, '67 was the last year for it. sounds like a p/o swapped out the 465/205 combo you want and put that in. at any rate, it wont be an involved project...i was in the process of swapping my 221 out for a 205, and all I had to do was move the crossmember back a few inches. that was when a lot of other stuff went wrong with my truck, so I parked it. havent had the driveshafts redone yet.
