Why sure! I say go for it... I did that to my hood but I cheated. I bought a wrecked SS Chevelle hood for $20 & cut off the scoop & welded it on my hood. Here it is in the "preweld" stage. Sorry, I dont have any finished pics of it but Ill work on that for you...corn
