Naw, just got the springs bolted on and the axles bolted back up. I am replacing tie rod ends, drag link, calipers, brake lines, rotors, pulling the hubs apart and greasing the bearings, bolting on the dual stabilizer, etc. Going for the one stop fix all routine.
Gonna take a few more weeks the way I am going. Then I need to do the rear blocks and finally bolt my headers up, bolt the new distributor on, rebuild and rejet my Carter AFB and redo some wiring. Then I will shoot the frame, fender well and tank with some semi or flat black and be done.
The way it's looking, I am going to get an easy 3" or more lift out of the 6" TC springs then the supposed 4" springs I had. I wouldn't even give the old springs away... Gonna have to toss them.
All in all, the old rule applies- Simple projects turn into bigger projects when you really start looking at all that needs to be done.
Thanks for the support. I think we are going to ALL like the outcome!
