A 3/4 or 4/4 drop on one of these trucks is super livable.

I drove a lowered 83 stepside for a long time.

In the front, a set of 3 inch spindles would do the trick. Or a set of spindles and mild drop coil springs if you wanted lower.

In the back, a shackle and hanger kit is a great way to go.

Personally, on anything 73 or newer, I run BellTech stuff. You can buy it all from Summit and get free shipping too. Belltech was one of the first in the lowering business, and certainly still one of the very best and more trusted brands. Quality counts in suspension parts. It's just life and death if something fails.
