Okay, now I'm confused. I have a 67, 3speed, 292. I want to change out to a V8. Some of you say keep the 3speed in the same spot, mount the 8cyl in the 6cyl holes, therefore I don't have to mess with the driveshaft.
But WAIT! Assuming I can't use my Zbar now from 6cyl now I have to get one off a V8 motor but then the spot in the frame for the V8 Zbar would be off in 6cy positon. Right?
So do I mount everything in the 8cyl positon then get a different front driveshaft?
Or will the Zbar from the V8 fit in I-6 zbar postion?
Please help. This is getting confusing. David
