i dont think i quite worded my first reply right. putting an IFS chassis under your truck would be shooting yourself in the foot. IFS truck ride like crap, they're hard on parts, and expensive to lift. if you want to run 38s, forget it. your parts bill will drive you to the poor house. i'm not opposed to new powerplants, and new trannys/cases. IFS absolutely blows, trust me, i drive one of those pieces of crap every day.
