they've actually got a differential similar to what is in the axles. drive it like anything else you would drive, just when you're on dry pavement keep it in HI, not HI LOC. keep your hubs locked at all times, driving with them unlocked will eat up the differential in the transfer case. it should have had drive flanges on it from the factory, but its not uncommon for people to replace them with locking hubs with the thought that they will get better milage simply by unlocking the hub, but this is not the case.
