git r dun , gotta hand a guy credit that is attempting something that not many people are willing to try and do , i say good deal , me and a buddy are planning the same in the future with his dads old 72 4wd , its different , i personally think that the ultimate daily would be a 67-72 sittin on a lte model ifs frame with all the vortec stuff or really make it fun and do an ls1 , i think that would make a super sweet driver ,, sure the ifs isnt the strongest ,, if your lookin for total bullet proof you could go with a dna 60 and fugetaboutit , but you gotta give and take , figure out what will work best for you anbd your plans for the truck , if they guy wants ifs with 35 inch tires and his main plan is to cruise it to work , groceries ect and the ocasional muddy field bash or and then drive it back home 100 miles i say go for it , id love to see pics along the way!!!
