Randy is 100% right. Also the factory cowl induction are longer on the top and reach over the cowl a bit. The aftermarket hood you buy dont reach back far enough to take advantage of the pressure at the windshield. If you want it to really work you have to install the kit Randy showed us and buy a bolt on cowl hood that reaches closer to the windsheild. The non-functional ones still look great and I may be getting one myself
