Need Steering Help. Round 2
Found the correct coupler at the bone yard. Got it all hooked up. Followed the factory service manual, and filled the pump and started the truck for about 2 or 3 seconds. Then topped off the fluid. Repeated this until the level was good.
When I turn, the pump makes a growling sound the more I turn. Going straight it's quiet. I'm using synthetic fluid. However the bottle says it meets GM specs.
Any Ideas Guys??
Also the steering seems real sensitive. Would a slightly long pitman arm contribute to the growling noise? It looks the correct length. I'm just curious. Darren
