make sence to me, i have always thought they should spend more time on building better filter and forget all the fancy oil.
if you change your oil every 3-5 k miles like you should you dont need to worry about oil break down, but you do need to worry about particulates IN the oil. thats were these big ass nice filters come into play. even that fancy oil has the same particulats doing the same dammage. so to me.. use the money you are wasting one fancey sythitic oil and use it on filters... but then again, i could be wrong.
