I have never seen a swb with a two piece. Interesting. I'd call around to some local yards to see if they have a one piece. As far as I know you shouldn't have any problem with the center section hitting the shaft unless yuor truck is seriously lowered. Make sure it's for an automatic and you may have to still measure, I think some tranny's were different lengths back then??
