I've just done this recently so i'll try -

1.Buy a tool and rivet set. Get some extra rivets in case you mess up.
2.Grind a flat spot on tool end like in pic. This will help installing one of the top rivets later.
3. Have a helper to hold things.
4. Remove old window liner fabric on long channel.
5. Soak nut on shaft with PB Blaster day before.
6. Put window in center of travel so as not holding against either stop.
7. Bent down tabs under nut. Note amount of threads above nut for reassembly.
8. Carefully remove nut, hold shaft with vise grip if nut seems tight.
9. Shaft WILL twist off on window if nut is stuck (yes I broke one).
10. Remove nut, spring etc. Note position of cam stop and washers etc for reassembly.
11. Use sharp 1/4 drill bit, apply light pressure and remove pivot rivet.
12. Remove window from frame.
13. Drill out top two rivets. I did not remove lower rivets.
13. Twist frame slightly to side and drill out 4 rivets on flat seal.
14. Remove flat seal and then remove the "V" shaped seal.
15. Put a plastic tie wrap through top rivet holes to hold it together while you clean it up.

16. Use some silicone spray lube and install the "V" seal.
17. Check holes in flat seal with rivets and enlarge if necessary.
18. Place lower end of flat seal inside of lower part of "V" seal.
19. Push rivets through from back side through the seal.
20. Place channel with rivet head over square punch or similar tool mounted in vise.
21. Using riveting tool, flatten all 4 rivots in flat seal.
22. Slightly bend top end of flat seal up so top end of "V" seal can slide under it.
23. Hook top end of "V" seal under flat seal, and install top rivet and flatten partially.
24. Install second rivet from top, this is where the flat grind on tool helps, and flatten, and finish riveting top rivet.
25. Reinstall window, with cam and washers in proper postion.
26. Rivet in new pivot rivet
27. Install washer and spring and nut, adjust for proper tension.
28. Bend up locking tabs and you are done.

Hope that helps - Tom
