I'm in LaPorte, Indiana. About an hour from you to the west.

I'm planning on leaving for Tennessee with my trailer Saturday morning,
to buy a complete 87 GMC 1/2 ton 2wd for the body.

How much are you asking, and what have you got ? If it's 81 up, I may need
the cab & front clip. Hood & all. No rust, right ?
Can you send me some quick images ?

I really prefer the early style front clip, like what's on my 78. But from what
I've been told, if using a newer cab (87) the older style won't work.

My truck is a Cheyenne, red w/ white insert on side, & white roof. I would really like to keep the side trim & color scheme. Looks like the side marker
on the front fender (87) is right where the bottom of the trim goes. Don't
really care for the later style grill either.
