Rearend out of my 63 suburban?
I am putting in everything new in my rearend. Summit sent me what we think is the wrong ring and pinion. We think it was packaged wrong from Richmond gear. Has anyone seen what the pinion looks like in ours. I got my orignal one but my rearend has been a mystery so far. Are your guys pinions tapered or stepped. Is your crush sleeve long or short.... long being over 2 inches. I got a pic from my local gm dealer of a rearend from like 58-66 that has the correct pinion... or at least looks like it! Any help!
