A buddy of mine lowered my dad's truck this weekend. The springs were original 35 years old that had settled. The fronts were cut one and a quarter coil and the rears were new 4" drop springs. The distance above the tire is now split in half and looks nice. My dad said it handles nice and tight. He is going tomorrow for an alignment even though it's pretty close.
