I nearly lost my 67 a couple weeks ago to a fuel fire. 9 month old fuel line dry rotted and cracked and sprayed gas on the dizzy and air cleaner. It was sitting idling and it sputtered and died and whoof! Hood was up luckly and I grabbed a moving blanket and smothered it. I couldn't find my extinguisher in the garage for nothin when I needed it. I need to get one to keep in the truck cause I may not be so lucky next time.
