We tried, could not make it work in the small amount of space on a
Blazer, my p/u had one, w/ the transfer case I was a little limited, I
also was limited because of where I wanted my tail pipes to exit, we
had to move the muffs forward just for the tail pipes to exit there, I
could have ran a H-pipe, but I would have had to bend it kind like a
u under the drive shaft, and from the rear of the truck it would have
been really noticable, plus exhaust rule #101, the less bends, joints,
etc... the better flow, the x-pipe would have made us run some of
the bends in the 75-90 degree range to make them work, plus we
would have had to peice more pipe together to do it, I'm still happy
even though we could not do it, I was worried a lil about back pop
through the muffs after flooring it and letting off, but these don't
*In pic #072 look how close the muffs are to the transfer case
The pic attached shows the only place that was left for a H-pipe,
and it would have hung down about 5-7 inches lower than muffler
if you were looking at it through the side view of the Blazer, yuck
