4x4poet,that`s cool.I just wanted to clarify that I(& others)advocate custom springs.Just was recommending simple steps to try first.To me,running fast over bumps takes a suspension re-design.The Hotckiss suspension was not designed for speed off-road.Custom springs would be the best route,short of total re-design.Longer shackles give lift approx. 1/2 the additional length(2" longer gives 1" lift)and decreases handling,go with springs of desired lift.You would benefit from going with longer springs.
