Is that 67 c10 a four-speed or an automatic? Most of the 4-speed cabs had a large hump (which are removable and required in a 4X4). You may already have what you need in place.

Check this...if both cabs have an uboltable interface you are home free. No lift needed. The small hump is formed like a car...you could spot the difference immediately.

Good luck on this swap Jman, I've done a couple three of these. You will need to use the 4x4 speedo cable and hopefully the 71 has disc brakes. You'll have to post more information about the transmission configuration and what the end config will be to get things together...
