I tried this and it wont work on a lowered truck anayways!
Due to the curve in the bar where it bolts to the a frame it changes the angle of this curve and cannot be bolted down.
I suppose you could heat the bar and bend it to the correct angle to allow it to be bolted to the a frame and the truck frame without the brackets.
