Well....installed the new Genuine GM hinges today, and the hood now lines up beautifully.
All that is left to do now is to install the tonneau cover and eventually get the AC from the L31 suburban all plumbed up.

Am I just a complete sissy boy, or do you guys also get anxious when driving a vehicle after a conversion and extensive mechanical work? I am starting to put mileage on the truck now, and I am a nervous wreck......and it happens after every conversion I've done.....I should be used to it by now, but I guess not.......
I keep going over the whole process....
--Did I tighten every bolt
--Did I do everything I needed to
--Are all the clearances correct
--Is the donor drivetrain in good shape
--etc etc etc

Think I am a pansy?
