Out on a limb here but I will tell you what I think I know, so please take it for what it is worth. On 67 and 68 trucks all the bench seats are basically the same no matter what trim package you ordered. The foam was all the same the springs were the same and the only differences were in the covers. However, the bench seat out of a 71 - 72 Cheyenne super with the houndstooth, has thicker foam for sure and possibly different springs. I swapped a super seat into my 67 and it was a direct bolt in but a world of difference, so much more comfortable. The differences in the seat tracks may be in the design, but not any differences in the bolt patterns. My.02
