The 4-row radiator I put in my truck was externally the same size as the OEM 3-row; only the core is thicker, so the fit was the same.

That said, the fan sits half in and half out of the shroud. Never had an overheating problem, even in extreme conditions - even with the 3-row, and I've owned the truck for 28 years.
