Hey all, I been gone a while on a 3 week trip to D.C. and New Jersey. So its time to change my oil (it's been 4 months acutally
). Since its been about 6 months since i last ran 93 octane, I figure i'll buy maybe Shell V Power or just plane Super-grade.
I bought some Prestone 0 to 60 Octane Booster. It says it increses octane by up to 10 points in regular unleaded gasoline. One bottle treats 16 gallons of gas, so that sounded like me
The bottle says it can be run in every tank if so desired. It also says it contains MMT whatever the hell that is.
This stuff any good? Is octane booster good for cleaning things out? If I run Shell V power (its 95 octane i believe) AND the octane booster, will it cause any problems? Should i just run plain 93 octane with the booster?
