When I had aluminum slots on my 70, it ate several sets of studs. One day my brother was driving and both rear wheels come off. Ended up taking dad's backhoe lifting the rear up and wheel barrowin the truck home to be fixed. Even with the centerline hellcat's I had one front one try to come off on the freeway. Things started vibrating terribly. Ended up not being the studs themselves but the front drum hub. All the studs started working loose in the hub. After switching to front discs and finding some longer and slightly larger in diameter rear studs things have been real good.
