I believe that '76 will have an NP203 in it as well. You will need to modify/lower the cross member. You will most likely need the transmission and adapter out of the '76 if you are going to use the t-case.

There are rebuild kits available for the rockwell. My buddy rebuilt his divorced unit using a kit and some spare parts from a married unit (one of the shafts welded itself to a race.) He got the kit from Billy Bobs Off Road in Puyallup, WA. I think he said it was around $100. He got the parts t-case at a swap meet for $50.
