2.70? Mind if I ask what that came out of? Can't help ya on the price, but I've heard it gets real expensive real fast. Most trucks came with a 3.08 or .07?? (havin a brain fart) or a 3.73. Not too sure on the posi's but you should be able to pick up a whole rear end for a couple hundred bucks. I think ChevyDude did a rear ratio swap on his truck not too long ago. May want to PM him.
