Today (Sunday) I got my engine back in the frame finally, very pleased with that! Afterwards I went to my painters house to arrange a time to get my bed in for bodywork and paint, only to find out his shop burned down last week!
I am sure glad nothing of mine was in there, but really bummed this happened, not only for myself, but for him too. Now I have to try to find another painter or wait until he gets his shop rebuilt...and I have nfc on which I will/should do. After all this, I tried for the second time to get these laserdisc converted to DVD...but not all went the way I had hoped. We (my cousin and I) did manage to get one recorded, but the pixel ratio was messed up, the video was "jumpy", and the sound wasn't the best. We tried to get it all dialed in, but never were able to get it any better. I now need to proceed to step 3, which is to try and get a co-worker of mine to give it a whirl. He is excellent at this kind of stuff, so hpefully he can assist.
