Well, i've had my truck for almost two years now, and i've had my licence a year and a half round about. My dad bought the truck new in 1980, just because it had a V8 and what good ol' boy don't want a pickup?
But he never intended to keep it more than a few years. Enter marriage and two kids and whatdoyaknow, here it is. He kept it really well, and the only thing he ever neglected was the tranny, but he was never hard on it.
Well, my parents refinanced the house to pay for a whole a$$load of bills we got slammed with, and depending on how much they salt away, i'll get a lil piece of change, not a lot, but just a lil bit. I'll be thankful if its just a "you're SOL" 'cause i don't deserve that.
Basically, this is what i'm looking at getting via any money my parents will be generous to share with me or from starting my job in a couple weeks.

There's still another long list of stuff i want to finish my truck, but compared to what a lot of y'all have / are doing, its piddlywinks. That up there comes out around 2 grand, and everything else i want comes out to around 1700. I'm not going all out or even above par, i just want my truck to be, um, not restored, but like, remade i think is the term people use.
Just figured i'd update on my progress, because it may not seem like it, but i'm pretty far along IMO. And I am a camera w**** so pictures will be plenty.
