On the way to work this morning a guy in a Grand Cherokee smacked the back of my old stepper. He didn't have any damage, I suffered a bent rear bumper, bumper brackets, and bent tail gate. He got into the tailgate because my truck is lowered.
I was pulling away from a light on an interstate exit ramp and the guy behind me apparently didn't get it stopped in time. He admitted in writing that the accident was his fault.
Since my truck is old and rusty I kinda expect to get stuck by the insurance company. The tailgate and bed were the only nice rust-free panels left on my truck.
I have all the rust free panels collected to re-body my old truck, but I was planning on re-using my now bent tailgate.
