Yes it is possible. I just picked up a 292 I6 that i am planning to run twin turbo's on. It is currently in the planning stage.

There is more aftermarket support for the I6 than you realize. Clifford Performance is one that only deals in inlined. Sissell Automotive has an aftermarket head for them.

Leo Santucci has a book on Chevy Inline 6's called Chevrolet Inline Six-Cylinder Power Manual. This is his turbocharged 292 I6.
