I have some friends that have an A/C and mechanic shop in gilbert, and they run the Edel 1406 on sbc they swear by them. I stop by there every day after work and BS around. These guys give me alot of cr@p becouse they think a I'm Holley only kinda guy. Well I'm not, I just know holleys better than I know the other carbs. I have run AVS, AFB, Thermoquads, Q-jets. I have all ways come back to Holley's. 2 months ago I rebuilt an Edelbrock Q jet for my brother in laws room mate, It working perfectly and it's on a 350 sb, and I charged him $35.00. I havent heard any complaints. As for Holleys I run a 750 vac secondary 268H comp cam 10.5 to 1 compression and pass emissions with a .128 on HC, Max allowed is .400 on HC and my truck was shaking the building at the emissions station.
