i am in the process on lowering my 78 c10 and i am trying to get the front lower ball joint loose and i can't...

i have everything else loose and have been hitting the crap out of the side of the spindle by the ball joint for at least 30 minutes and still nothing...

i also tried one of the traditional fork ball joint seperators and still nothing...

does anyone have any other ideas??

could i take a torch to the spindle for a couple of minutes and maybe that help loosen it???
