Here is the story:
I bought it off a guy in Colorado about 8 yrs ago. He said it was a 72 truck column. Being all of 17. I didn't really know the difference. The levers looked like the right vintage as well as the column itself(shape, etc...)
It had a camaro steering wheel on it when i pulled off the horn button there was a tag behind it that said 72 chevy van. This was very discouraging. So i let the thing sit because i had no way to contact the guy. anyway i found it in my mom garage a couple of weeks ago(thinking it was long gone) And had read a coulple people on here converting them. So I'm here trying to figure it out. I guess it could be a truck column. All i have to go on is that paper tag that i found when i pulled off the steering wheel.
I will post some pics when i get home tonight. Are there any other tell tails to see which it is?
