This is not really Mar-K area of expertise, but my personal car is 1968 GTO. Has 2 1/2 flowmaster pipes mandrel bent front to back. I had the welded dynomax (Like flowmasters) and they sounded great. When they rusted out, I replaced with flowmaster delta. Flowmaster is a lot louder at idle and slow speed and it kind of penetrates the whole interior of the car. Wife doesn't like it. Then on the highway cruising the flowmaster gets so quiet you can hardly hear it, certainly no louder than Dynomax was and probably quieter. I could not tell any difference in performance from 'seat of the pants'. I guess it depends on what speed you want to attract attention.
