JB weld will work on anything. I used it to glue a plastic piece on a vaccuum cleaner that held a screw which holds the pressure of the belt from the motor. Worked for years. I think it has to be prepped right to really hold. I have used it on a tiller engine block on the tab that holds the carb. I worked in the oil field for 10 years and we used it to glue the joints of casing (pipe) together when we finnished up a well. It was originally designed for that and was made by JB Hughes for that specific purpose.
