Glad to help. I thought the K5nutt name i use over at CK5.com really fits me as i go a little overboard when it comes to k5's. I have all the factory Helm manuals from 73 to 99 and wiring manuals to 91...i have dealership posters of K5's in the garage...gm black and white glossy press releases etc. lol. Feel free to email me for help...allthough i'm usually seperated from my goodies as i spend weeks at a time onsite on an oil rig...

What stopped me from doing a repair was as i had the harness apart i found severly oxidized wiring in the harness and the factory rubber plugs that hide the series 56 cconnectors are impossable to repair...i did make a new connector out of a 4 way weatherpack connectors to cure that problem but the rest of the harness would have to be rebuilt from scratch with new 10 gauge wire and that left the firewall connector as the last problem to overcome....all the resistance in the circuit are what cause windows to operate slowly.
