your doing exactly as i had wished to do on putting one in a truck.i don`t really care for the 383 engines that have everyone stirred up about,but i love a 377.i`ve had one in a camaro,and it was bad!!i like how everyone always talks about those 283`s that would rev so high......well,this 377 is great,just like a chainsaw!!man,let me know how it does.keep in touch with me,ok.
