yeah, its a good idea to raise the tranny the same or close to what you z-ed. i z-ed 4", and also moved the 327/700r4 combo ahead 3" for distributor clearance, but then for the tranny crossmember, i actually got the auto one from ECE, flipped it upside down, and dropped the center portion 1&1/2" to make the tranny raised 4". I also just dropped the center as for room to run exhaust, in which i have true 2.5" duals all the way out the rear bumper and i lay body front to back(my exhaust guy is amazing)
