I use waterproof bearing grease. Are the bushings black? if so they could be impregnated with graphite, then the grease would only help you slip them in. Are you replacing the front frame bushing and and the bushing in the rear shackle? I'd recommended it and it's not too hard to do. Also suggest all new grade 8 bolts, should be all 9/16" for the rear and 9/16" for the very front and 7/16" for the front shackle end. Your welcome.

1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed.
1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm
