The nv4500 is the best 5spd made.93-current 2500/3500. I'd go Cummins' too,since a D-Max swap wouldn't be reasonable.I saw a guy drop a D-Max in a 87'K30 though,for a pulling truck. I'm going to run a Cummins 12v/nv4500/married 32spline 205. If I had more play $$$$ I'd drop in a D-Max myself because that's what I run for a DD and they can be built into an awsome powerplant for sled pulling. A guy that I know is running 830hp/1700+ torque through his 02' D-Max.
